Summer Itinerary Weeks Commencing Saturday July 9th  and Saturday August 13th 2011

7 day inclusive fully hosted holiday - all activities, meals, trips, entrance fees and transfers  = £630

Saturday  Day 1 - Airport Transfer
A private transfer (70 minutes) brings you to Parcent where you can relax with a welcome drink and lunch on the terrace before taking a stroll around the village and perhaps a dip in Parcent's fabulous swimming pool 

Sunday Day 2 - El Somo Circuit 9km, 285m Ascent, 4hr

Today's walk winds between three inland gorges each more spectacular than the last! Farm paths through cherry orchards lead over open ridges, with ever more expansive views of the coast before we picnic in a ruined farmhouse below an impossible castle on a ragged vertical peak. From here we wind past bright pink velorium above a sunken chasm, and descend through almond terraces perfumed with camomile back the start. Transfer back to Carrascal to enjoy your afternoon in Parcent soaking up the sunshine on our terrace or relaxing at the village pool

Monday Day 3 - Calpe Rock Walk  and Fish Restaurant Lunch
Transfer to the coastal town of Calpe to take a gentle climb up the  Penon Ilfach which towers 1000 feet above the sea giving spectacular 360 views. Returning via the tunnel carved out of the natural limestone.  Then walk to the fishing port  to take lunch at one of the most famous seafood Restaurant set right on the beach.
Enjoy a 4 course meal with wine and sample the freshest fish you can imagine.  After lunch kick off your shoes for a beachside stroll and paddle!

Tuesday Day 4  - Valencia Trip
This morning drive you to Xereco train station where you take the train along the coast, passing flooded rice fields. look out for Herons and Egrets.
The train takes you into the heart of the city with its amazing architecture and history. So much to see. We provide tour maps and a guide to "must see places of interest". All transfers and rail tickets are included in the price of the holiday.  Collect from Xereco station at 6pm - transfer back to Carrascal for 4 course dinner with wine.

Wednesday Day 5 - Bernia Fort Walk and Verdi Vent Lunch
Transfer to the majestic  mountain of  the Bernia and walk to the ruined 16^th Century Moorish Fort taking in the spectacular views down to the coast and across vast mountain ranges.  Afterwards enjoy a well-deserved 5 course meal at the unique Verdi Vent.  This is a quirky rustic mountain restaurant very bohemian in style but producing fantastic food in a great atmosphere enhanced by Spanish guitarists and unlimited local wine! 

Thursday Day 6 - Boat Trip
Transfer to Denia to catch a  Boat Trip  to Javea along the rocky coastline passing through the Montgo National Marine Park. Explore Javea Port and the old town with the Mariners Church.  Return to Denia by Boat to view the medieval town with it's castle and tree-lined streets where the café culture can be enjoyed  or visit the exclusive Marinas to marvel at the gorgeous boats.

Friday Day 7 - Fonts de Algar Walk

Transfer to the local natural phenomenon of the spring fed waterfalls at the Fonts de Algar where the water cascades into crystal clear lagoons through groves of avocados and bananas with pink and white flowered Oleanders cascading down. Swim in the pale green waters and through the waterfalls or enjoy the stroll around this Protected Park.

Saturday Day 8 - Airport Transfer
Transfer back to airport

We also plan to take our guests to a number of local Fiestas to experience the unique atmosphere, including firework display's,  Moors & Christian processions, open air concerts, etc
