Set in hilltop Parcent, a colourful Spanish “pueblo” where tourism is virtually unknown, Casa Carrascal offers an excellent opportunity for great walking in fantastic scenery. Our guided walks take in spectacular limestone mountain ranges, gorgeous orange, almond andcherry groves, vineyards and beautiful deserted coves.
We offer fully guided and hosted 7 day walking holidays for every level.
We also organise day walks and 2/3 day breaks. These give not only a great walking experience but also an insight into the culture and customs of this fascinating area.
All this combined with fantastic wine and food. Our aim is to provide a really special experience.
We have created pictorial guides which show our two itineraries – the “Main Itinerary” +” Early Summer Sun” & “Late Summer Sun” – these will give you a flavour of the walks on offer. For guests returning from previous years these itineraries can be adapted to offer new routes.
You can also view our “Wildlife & Flower Gallery” (look under “Itineraries”) which shows the hundreds of wild flowers, the many beautiful butterflies and the large variety of birds (especially raptors) which can be seen on our walks.
Many people ask what it’s like to visit at specific times of the year: – ” What’s the weather like in February and what sort of flowers are out?” – So we have posted a “Follow the Seasons Diary” – this is our blog which we update weekly and reflects the walking we do, the places we visit, the wildlife and flora we see as well as the weather we enjoy!
